The 10th Federal Census of Humphreys County, Tennessee was taken between June 1st and June 15th, 1880. This book is transcribed from a microfilm copy of the original that was obtained from the National Archives, Washington, D. C. Included in this book is a list of all 10,574 people living in Humphreys County on June 1st. Children who were born between June 1st and June 15th were no included. Persons who died during these dates were included. Information from the original microfilm that was not included in this list were statements regarding illiteracy, unemployment, the family number, school attendance, the date of enumberation and the enumerator's name.
