These wills were abstracted under the auspices of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in the early 1900s. Every name mentioned in the original will is abstracted. Earlier, copies of these abstracts were made available to various libraries in Pennsylvania and microfilm copies were made by the Genealogical Society of Utah (LDS). These records, which have been in high demand, have now been typeset and included in this book.
